Tránh trường hợp âm thầm mất ăn, mất ngủ vì lo lắng dương vật của mình không đủ chuẩn. </p><p> Trên thực tế, tại khoa Nam, Bệnh viện Bình Dân và Đại Học Y dược TP HCM, các bác sĩ thường xuyên tiếp nhận những trường hợp nam giới đến yêu cầu phẫu thuật kéo dài &quot;của quý&quot;, bởi cho rằng của mình quá ngắn nhưng so với chuẩn trên thì lại rất bình thường. </p><p> Các bác sĩ đã dùng thước cứng, đo dọc mặt lưng dương vật, từ gốc đến đỉnh đầu sau khi tác động gây cương bằng hình ảnh gợi cảm và tiêm thuốc vào thể hang. </p><p> Bác sĩ Nguyễn Thành Như, Trưởng khoa Nam, cho biết, dương vật to hay nhỏ chịu ảnh hưởng bởi testosterone. Sự tiết của testosterone ở tinh hoàn lại được điều khiển bởi một chất có tên khoa học viết tắt là LH trong tuyến yên tiết ra. Khi bắt đầu dậy thì, tuyến yên tiết ra nhiều LH, LH kích thích tinh hoàn tăng tiết testosterone. Tuy nhiên dương vật chỉ dài và to ra đến một mức độ nào đó thì tự ngưng. </p><p> Trường hợp lúc cương, dương vật chưa đạt được chiều dài 7,8 cm và lúc bình thường chưa đạt 3,8 cm thì &quot;chủ nhân&quot; nên nghĩ đến phương pháp phẫu thuật kéo dài hoặc tăng cường testosterone. </p><p> Tuy nhiên theo các bác sĩ, không nên lạm dụng, và tự điều trị sẽ có hại.
